Dive Computer Mares Smart Apnea
The Smart Apnea computer is the evolution of the Nemo Apneist and has become the reference computer for spearfishermen and the most demanding freedivers. Smart Apnea is simple and user-friendly, offering a wide variety of features.
The Smart Apnea computer includes an apnea mode designed specifically to meet the needs of freedivers.
It can operate in watch mode or dive mode. In watch mode, users can change settings, review logbooks with details like dive durations and depths reached, download data to a PC, and more.
In dive mode, users can control depth, time, rate of descent and ascent, temperature, and other parameters to be set on the surface.
Smart Apnea includes a backlight function that can be activated in low ambient light conditions.
It can record dive profiles for approximately 20-30 hours, depending on the number and duration of dives, assuming a detection interval of 1 second. Information can be transferred to a PC via the Dive Organizer software using the USB clip (sold separately), or to a Mac via the Divers' Diary software.

Care and maintenance for the Smart Apnea freediving computer:
Depth accuracy should be checked by an authorized Mares dealer every two years. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each dive (avoiding chemicals) and replace the battery when necessary. Please read the instruction manual carefully.
