Mares Led Tank Module
The LED Tank Module enhances your diving experience by enabling direct transmission of tank pressure to your Mares dive computer, using a color-coded system to estimate gas levels at a glance.
Attaching the module to the first stage high-pressure outlet (7/16") is quick and straightforward. Once connected to your dive computer, it functions as a pressure gauge, even on the surface. The LED probe features flashing lights in three distinct colors: green for pressure over 180 bar, yellow for 100 bar, and red for levels below 50 bar.
Utilizing the LED Tank Module, your dive computer calculates real-time gas consumption in liters, optimizing bottom time based on decompression gas availability. To conserve battery life, the flashing function deactivates if there is no pressure change greater than 1 bar for more than 4 minutes.
The module uses a user-replaceable CR123A battery, offering a generous lifespan of approximately 150 to 200 dives, depending on operating temperatures.
The tank module is attached to an HP (high pressure) port of the first stage regulator, transmitting tank pressure data using a hoseless coded RF protocol to the dive computer. The computer displays tank pressure and calculates gas consumption rate and time remaining before reaching the reserve value. When using the LED Tank Module, you must utilize one of the two high-pressure ports sized 7/16".
