Snorkeling Kit Calibro + Corsica Cressi
Calibro Mask
Calibro enjoys a conglomerate of technical advantages that Cressi has been incorporating in various models in recent seasons. It combines great technicality with a captivating design and medium proportions, both of the frame and of the face.
Its thin frame in a single piece, without frames, allows great lightness (118 g) and a surprising approach of the glass to the eyes with the consequent advantages in terms of visibility and reduction of internal volume.
The assembly of the mask is exclusive and integrates the frames and the structure inside the facial. This system improves the tightness of the mask, eliminates any possibility of uncomfortable contact between the frame and the forehead, and eliminates any view of the central area of the frame from the inside.
Its facial optimizes dead spaces and reduces the internal volume to only 85 cm³. The glass/face distance has been reduced to such an extent that the facial does not have the well-known suction cup effect, it simply sits on the face, providing optimum sealing thanks to its design and the highly studied thickness/stiffness ratio of the silicone.
A subtle silicone membrane located around the nose acts as a deflector so that the hot air that leaves the nose when compensating for external pressure does not go directly to the lenses, reducing the tendency to fog up that is common in reduced-volume masks.
Sloping lenses that are extended by soft curved lines above the cheekbones, improving lower visibility. The very fine frame and the studied coupling with the delicate area of the frontal bone optimize superior visibility without impairing the ability to adapt.
The buckles, anchored in the frame for optimal stability of the mask and a tension always to be determined by the user, are completely foldable and tilt in all directions. Therefore, the possibility of breakage is almost impossible. This type of anchorage also improves the stability of the mask, since the tension of the strap is produced on a rigid element and the movements of the tube do not affect the facial.
Corsica Snorkel
Completely new snorkel, initially studied for spearfishing but which has special virtues also suitable for diving or snorkeling.
The material of the tube is particularly flexible polyurethane and with an elastic memory of 100% after being subjected to bending, folding or even knotting on itself even for days.
The section of the tube walls is designed to maintain the necessary rigidity in the pressure area of the mask strap so as not to impair air circulation in this area in case of using it held by the mask strap.
The mouthpiece, very comfortable, has a design that combines different thicknesses to favor its orientation and release the user's jaw from tension. The area in contact with the gums is exceptionally flexible and of minimal thickness. The nozzle/tube connection is especially safe against possible accidental separation.
