The 62X first stage sets new records as the smallest in the diving market, measuring 63 mm and weighing just 464 g (DIN). This compact yet robust diaphragm first stage is 10% smaller and lighter than its 52X predecessor, boasting a 30% reduced volume.

Enhanced with Auto Sealing (AST) technology, the 62X offers protection against water intrusion into the first stage.

The 62X's core has undergone a redesign to achieve an even more effective seal, rendering it an excellent choice for cold water diving. The optional Twin Balanced Piston (TBP) addition further solidifies its standing as one of the best-performing regulators in cold water environments. The exterior features a chrome finish with a pearlescent effect.

Notable technical advancements within the first stage's inner mechanisms include a revamped valve stem housing with sharper contours, a smaller cone radius, and a reduced angle, all contributing to an improved sealing surface.
